My truck is ready for driving around. The wiper blades need to be replaced. What blades or replacement can I use. The blades are 12 inches long.
thanks

I thought the Tricos would suit me but the attach point on the blade actually came apart as I was installing them... the search continued
After several calls to tech folks at Trico and Anco and Rain-x I found that 12-13" blades are hard to come by in newer designs, they all have the
conventional construction which builds in all the slop. I finally found an adjustable arm (11-14".. stock is 12") with the correct drum end but it had a
J-hook connection for the wiper blade.
That opened up to a variety of newer blade options
The arm I used was a Wesco 2007140 and it's available on Amazon and other places
The blade is a Bosch Evolution Beam type blade # 4813
Haven't installed them yet , still 'walkering' around with this fractured leg bone, but there is much less slop in the connections and I'm
pretty sure the beam design will wipe better than the old conventional type.
Thanks fir all the information. I have newish wiper rams on truck. I saw 12 inch blades on rock auto. I guess I should take the arm off and go to the big chains and see if there is anything local.
thanks

Are you going to take them to the chrome shop John..?
I have a bunch of original arms with ends like that, I'll have to go through them and see if they are better than what I have now. The re-pops on my panel are good, the ones on the pickup aren't as good..
