I should also add I have stand alone Isspro gauges separate from the MAP and OBD2 sensors.

Was low boost present before the added mods? Used IC?

At the top of the page, click on User Cp. When the page opens scroll down to Settings and Options. Under that heading click on edit signature. When that page opens fill out your signature the way you want it to read , then click on save signature, and you are done.

Yeah low boost was present before the mods. Intercooler was brand new from Banks. I’ve spent a lot of time working on this truck because I plan on keeping it running as long as possible and I can’t find the issue. I’m thinking it might be the MAP sensor or the EBP pedestal sensor. I never plugged the isolator for the EBP pedestal pigtail because I never got a CEL or even a soft code after I deleted the EBPV. But maybe the EBP sensor has gone bad and is putting the truck in limp mode. Idk, I’m at a loss.

Like an absolute dog. I don’t expect it to run like my 6.4, but with the injectors and tuning that I’ve done I am expecting it to wake up a little. It struggles on hills to find power too.

The EBV might be a good idea to delete too. Not sure how much it would affect boost pressure but I’d imagine it wouldn’t have a positive affect if it was having some kind of issues

I deleted it when I rebuilt the turbo and got a delete pedestal. I have had the sensor unplugged without the isolator on it though. But that soft code it throws wouldn’t put me into limp mode I don’t think.

Oh gotcha. Yeah that wouldn’t do it I have the same soft code. I haven’t had much experience in this area so these other experienced fellas would most likely be of more help but I’m curious if it’s something in the MAP sensor

I cut my EBPV sensor wires and left them hanging for a good 6 months before getting a resistor on it. No noticeable difference on driving.

I would check the line going to the MAP sensor. It could be plugged or cracked and the sensor is not seeing pressure correctly.

Update for y’all. I took off my EBP sensor and have a new one in the mail from RiffRaff that’ll be in Tuesday as well as a new MAP sensor. Today I took the old EBP sensor off and it was covered in soot. BUT...the most alarming issue was that the 45 degree elbow that is welded to the bracket was completely clogged with soot! I got it cleared out and am hoping that between the new parts I have coming in and cleaning the 45 degree fitting, that I’ll have the problem rectified. I’ll keep y’all posted

Try this test, startup the truck cold with the hood up. claim in there and reach around that baby butt. If its leaking bad you will feel the exhaust. My truck failed this test four tries in a row this week! you should hit about 5 psig of boost just *****footing around on the street. I just fixed my leak. New uppies rebuilt stock turbo with an upgraded wheel and 4" exhaust. I'm running the cheep tuner with a 40 hp tune she has 240K on her clock. I adjusted waste gate valve to hold about 20lbs of boost. Today I tested her and she will hit 28lbs of boost on an on-ramp. My bet is your *** is leaking like mine was.

Update

Replaced EBP sensor, ICP sensor, new MAP sensor and line, fixed all boost leaks and still only about 5psi max. I’s pretty sure at this point that it’s the Edge monitor. I’m just going to get a gauge that shows boost from the MAP line. Truck does run better though. Better throttle response now. Probably from the new ICP sensor.
