HAs anyone else experienced a leaking steering box from this recent of a truck? I have seen threads from older models failing. I got up under my truck to take a look at the suspension for what might be causing some vibration and found what looks like the power steering gearbox has been leaking a bit. I am looking to replace it and will probably go with a Cardone, just can't see paying about twice as much for a RedHead or a BlueTop. Any suggestions?
Should I replace anything else while I am in there like the Drag link or Tie Rod Ends?
Why even go down the Cardone path? Its full of leaks and disappointment. Seriously its flat out terrible quality, a seal kit is cheaper for you to do. Thats all Cardone does because they make zero modifications to these boxes. We all know the flaw in the box is the lack of a bushing and thats where the redhead and blue top come in.
