So I have a question?!? I’m wanting to get a full exhaust system but until I can afford it I was thinking about just having a muffler delete done? But I’ve heard stuff about back pressure and whatnot and I don’t know much about exhaust! So if I got a muffler delete done and replaced it with piping where the muffler was then there won’t be any back pressure correct? And everything should be good to go?!? Or am I wrong? Thanks for the help!!

If this is on a diesel built since 2008, there is just a little more to it than that, you will need a full tune.........IF you can find a tuner to do it.

it’s a gasser not a diesel! So what about the gas version?
I ran an 02 5.4L with gust the cat on it for about a month last year. It sounds good at idle, but annoying on the throttle. Its certainly not like a Mustang with cutouts as far as the cool factor. I reused the intermediate pipe and bolted on a new muffler and a 90 degree bend.
