I recently had my tailgate stolen from my 2013 F250 King Ranch. I found and purchased a tailgate; however, it was came off of a 2012 F250. The camera location and harness are not the same. I have purchased all the components for this except the correct harness, DC3Z 14A412-A. The tailgate is painted and installed upon my truck.
I have had no luck finding this harness. Upon contacting Ford to try to get the connectors so I could build my own. They pointed me to a connector 9U2Z-14S411-NA which they claim is the connector coming from my truck. I haven't been able to verify this nor get anything from the camera itself. EC3Z-19G490-A
My question is: Where can one purchase the original DC3Z 14A412-A harness? If I can't purchase this anymore, what component do I need to purchase to build my own harness to fit this truck?
Thank you for any help in this. I have again tried to locate the harness and have had ZERO luck getting this. I have everything complete now except the hookup to the camera. Not sure when or if they are ever going to get this harness back in stock

omg, I feel your pain! Our tailgate was stolen when it was in the yard at the shop for a new transmission. Our backup camera is located in the Ford emblem and we are just not able to find a replacement wiring harness. We have called nationwide. One web site said that Ford has this part on backorder with no release date. I hope you bought a lock for your new tailgate, we sure did! Good Luck!
I just ordered some stuff from them yesterday. I can say the customer service so far has been very helpful and prompt! Cant argue with the prices either for genuine OEM stuff
Yeah, it has been a major pain. First I ordered a gate which of course was from a 2012. I was told it came off of a 2013.
One of the first things I did was purchase a lock for the gate. I went with the Gate Keeper and painted it to match. If you didn't know it was there, you would never see it. It was a pain to put on so I know it will likely never come off again.
Regarding the Harness, I have had the exact same results. They show it in stock, so I purchase it only to be told 2 days later that it is back ordered and no date to ever get it in

Thanks for the reminder to lock my tailgate, I've read this over and over and keep forgetting to do it. Hope you find a solution to your issue
Some Ford parts are on Nationwide back order.
I think it means they need to manufacture some more.
