Low pressure light came on due to cold weather. Put in a couple pounds expecting the sensor to reset and go off. Still on, do I need to disconnect the battery and will that screw up my phone? Thanks.
You do not have to disconnect the battery for the TPMS.
Have a tire shop to check for both of the above.
If you have one in your area, Discount Tire will check for free.
I’m not sure how disconnecting the battery can or would screw up your phone but any info related to your phone that you stored in the Infotainment System might be erased so you’ll have to set things up again.
Thanks Guy's. I have a TPMS-19 transmitter that I will try tomorrow and post back. These are new transmitters installed about 6 months ago and the tires are not leaking. I'll check out this transmitter deal and post back.
