Sync 3 update 2019 F250 issues

My 2019 F250 Sync system started messing up. Loses GPS, voice command and touchscreen taking forever to take actions, phone bluetooth constantly disconnecting then reconnecting, etc. Issues started about 3-4 weeks ago and has gotten progressively worse. Bought my truck late December 2018, has 66,000 miles on it, so the APIM I believe is out of warranty.

I found the information about possible failed APIM, but understand from a TSB that the dealer first has to try to update the Sync software as this supposedly solves some of the issues (ie., they claim many are not a failed APIM). I also found where I can do the USB update myself.

So, I watched the various Youtube and Ford videos on how to do the update.
1. I formatted a 32GB USB drive to exFAT.
2. I checked owner.ford.com and sure enough, for my VIN, says an update is available (SYNC v3.0.19205), so I downloaded the update.

3. Here's where I run into the problem. The instructions show 1 simple ZIP file in the downloaded folder. That's not what I got in the download folder. I have 7 ZIP files. See pic below.

I've tried running the Autoexec files, they do nothing. I've tried unzipping all 7 files, and get 7 new folders, each with a few files in them.

Anyone know how to proceed, or what I did wrong in this process?
Thx

Thx. Looks like it's a Windows app. Do they have a MAC version?

On the usb drive you should have the .lst and .msa files plus a folder named "SyncMyRide".
Under the SyncMyRide folder you should have the 7 tar.gz files.
Insert the usb drive into one of the front-most usb drives in the truck and the usb should start extracting the software (mine flickers).

The update that an owner such as yourself can do is just an update to a different version of the SYNC 3 system......nothing more and nothing less. It’s not the same update that a dealer does to the APIM.

The problems that you mentioned will still be there after you do the SYNC 3 update.

I hate to tell you this but more than likely, you’re going to need a new APIM.
