Spool down time

What is a safe amount of time for a turbo to spool down and cool? The owners manual on my 3.0 is very vague and if the auto stop/start function is activated there is no time.

back in my days of heavy equipment operations (emergency vehicle ops) Detroit diesel, Cat (which is a disposable) all said, 30 seconds on a gentle run, up to 2 minute if it's a "hot" or heavy workload run.

3 to 5 minutes if towing to allow the EGT's to come down. or to put it another way if towing heavy, at fuel stops no shut down until you are full, then pull forward for the next guy and then you can shut down and go inside to pay or get a snack.

No towing, don't worry about it.
