Fumoto Valve drain plug question

Are they really safe/ok to use??? I have been wanting to use one for years and each time I go to order, I just think of worse case scenario and it failing, being hit by road debris etc. Freaks me out a bit. But man would it make it easy to change the oil! Part number for a 2019 6.7l? Thanks!

The road debris would have to lift the handle and turn all in the same rotation. Make sure when you install the valve handle is at the top.

The odds are much greater for road debris to leap up and poke a hole on your oil filter that hangs down by the oil pan! And even that would likely take a little majic to happen.
