2003 V10, 250K miles leaf springs in the front look almost flat, back are not that much better. Went to a shop and they quoted 1200. to re-arc all or 2500. to replace with new. Not looking to change the ride height, just want to stop the crashing at every little bump in the road. Recently replaced shocks, brakes, plugs, coils, rear bumper and hitch. Being a NY truck there rust on this but thankfully it passes the hammer test. Try to do most of the work myself but replacement of these isn't something I believe I can handle.
They are supposed to be flat.
if the suspension is bottoming out your shocks are bad and a good chance you are missing at least 1 front bump stop. Replace them as well.
measure from the center of your hub to the bottom of the fender arc at all 4 corners. Front should be 23” rear 24”
ATS? Better stated: ATS!!!!!!!!
Junior helped me get the ultimate suspension for towing with my 2wd 6.8. He told me to not buy their front coils, but instead purchase OEM Z Codes.
Anytime a vendor tells me NOT to spend my money on their product, I’m in love/respect with for life.
