1977 Rear Leaf Spring Replacement
Looking to replace the rear leaf springs on my 1977 F250.
1) Want to keep stock ride - I have found different companies (General Spring, etc) that will ship stock spring setup to me but I am looking for more insight from this forum as to how I should approach purchasing new springs.
2) Can anyone tell me more about the Auxiliary spring setup I have and how I would go about replacing this as well? I have been unable to find any good info on what was offered back then and how my setup might fit the bill
I did see serial #'s on the main springs and I will pull those off if they are necessary. Did not see any on the auxiliary.
Any help/insight here would be appreciated.

I worked through a local spring shop for my F250 springs. Cost was reasonable, they arrived in a few days without lots of shipping cost and they fit and worked great.
I removed my cracked auxiliaries and ride improved greatly.
If you want a new set of Aux springs for heavy loads, a number of companies sell them including JC Whitney. A local spring shop may be able to help there also.
