I got a 96' F350 and I bought it with a small oil leak. Its nothing serious and technically doesn't NEED to be fixed, but its something I figured I would put on my list of todo's with this project. The leak is right where the dipstick tube meets the oil pan under the truck.
I was hoping someone would have some insight on different solutions I can attempt at home. I was potentially thinking or some type of molding/superglue/cocking seal to just patch up the tiny crack.
It drips maybe a drop every now again. The last owner took it in a couple times and everyone told him not to pay to fix it cause it wasn't worth it. I am fine with leaving it be, but my driveway has taken enough of a beating (My last Ford leaked like crazy).
That is a common spot to leak. There are a handful of fixes, some are more involved. If you think some goop will fix your leak i don't see any harm in trying
