Axle code??

Hi to all, I am looking at the center section of a 86 Bronco 9".
The guy hasn't pulled it yet, and says that the axle code is H6??
Anyone have a clue? I am assuming that it is limited slip due to the Hx .

well, according to this chart:

they don't even list an "H6", but it may just be missing, I'm not too sure

I believe H6 is 3.08 with track-lok.

the H generally means track-lok..

if the bronco is has a 300-6 without overdrive, it is almost definately 3.08.

It has a 351HO in it.It is also an automatic.

Well, searching Yahoo for Ford axle code H6, The first link was for an old forum right here on FTE. It says that it is a 3.50LS. And rare for some reason.
