Hi, so I am posting on behalf if my brother who's not really a forum user. So this is his pickup and he live 3000km's away from me so I unfortunately can't be hands on with it. He just recently bought a 2009 F-150 with the 4.6 V8 and 258000kms I don't know what trans or t-case. He said they changed the manifold and did the brakes before he bought it. He has been daily driving for about a week or so without issue. He went to put in 4x4 the other day because his driveway was icy. Now in reverse it feels like the front wheels are locked, in 2 wheel or 4 wheel he can drive forward fine and the trans shifts as it should but it won't go anywhere in reverse. If anyone has any insight that'd be greatly appreciated. I did check out the stickies but didn't see anything specific to no reverse. Thanx

Ask him if will move forward in neutral, this will tell us if the forward clutch is stuck on. It may have reverse but cant back up because it is still trying to move forward, so it will bind up and not go anywhere in reverse.
