Stuck! I need to remove the collar of the steering wheel to replace the auto Trans shift dial and the shift indicator. It appears the shift column is pressed over to hold the collar on - should I pry up the shift column to release the collar?
No help on your problem, but if it’s a true 53-56 automatic column be careful they’re getting harder and harder to find.
