Goosebox Pressure Setting?

I recently did a couple of short (2 hour) trips pulling my 35' Montana 3121RL behind my 2015 F250 SD CCSB. I have a B&W Turnover-ball hitch and a 20K Goosebox. My question is, can anyone tell me how to determine the correct pressure to use in the Goosebox? I set it at 35 PSI when I picked up the trailer (50 PSI is max, I believe), and it seemed to tow very nice. Is there an easy way to determine what the best pressure is? I suspect the answer is, " just keep changing it until you're happy"' or something like that. Hopefully someone has a more scientific answer...

Thanks!
John

Center up the green indicator with the edge of the outer part

EZ.
And when the sticker wears away, just use center of the little hole.

Center it and leave it, mine is right at 40 psi.

I've found mine tows best in the 40-45 psi range also. Not bad at 50, however. If it's too much, the pop-off valve will allow the excess to escape. It will also do that while driving if you encounter harsh bumps. I have the 2nd gen GooseBox and I try to keep the bar in the middle-to-lower part of the sight hole.

I think I am running about 30 psi, seems to be good. I tried it with no air and that was terrible.

Thanks for the replies, guys! I'll try setting it in the middle of the window next trip, and see what that pressure is. I think the Goosebox feels very smooth, but I have nothing to compare it to. My buddy has the identical trailer, but is pulling with a slider hitch, and a Silverado 2500 Diesel. I need to ride with him and see what his set up rides like.

Regards,
John
