Hey there!
I just acquired a 1996 E250 van with a partial conversion. It currently has just two seats. I need another butt in there! Any recommendations on a third man seat for the middle, or as a second preference a bucket seat to put behind the passenger Seat near the van door? If second option was removable that would be GREAT!
I need something that will bolt right in with a seatbelt, because I’m a total novice! Any help would be appreciated!
Hi and welcome! If you want a quick removable bucket, I'd try and find one from a camper van. Most of the second row (at the side door), from the camper vans, were made with a plate that bolted thru the floor, and the seat sat into that plate and latched fast. You could just unlatch the seat and lift it out, lap belt and all for easy loading. Do a search for motorhome or RV junkyards. You might find one at another scrap yard. But there are yards that specialize in RVs. My 94 E250 has one. My friends 91 doesn't. So I'm guessing they were an option.
