Speedometer calibration question

Hey, I have 2020 f-350 that’s getting a lift and I’m plannning I’m running 285-75-18 tires.
my question is, can the dealership adjust the speedometer? I have read that it can be done for stock size tires and this is stock size for the tremor.
can it be done? If so how do I tell them to do it?
thanks for your help

I believe I have see postings regarding folks using FORScan to make changes to the calibration for various tire sizes. You might want to do a search here and the the FORScan site.

The kind folks that figure out the values to use in Forscan haven't figured that out yet for the 2020s.

Side question on this, do you have to recalibrate the speedometer? I mean, if you don't, other than the speedo and odometer being off, will it mess anything up on the truck?

Tires sized above a certain threshold would throw a code and light on previous models. I don't recall what the size was. Possibly 37's. The miserable search function on this may tell you something, it may not.
Also, I'm told the computer system on the 2020 is a little different and that's likely why our FORScan gurus are still hard at work sorting out and adding mods for the 2020 model year.

I run 35's on a 20" wheel and I'm exactly 5 mph over. You can download mph apps that you can verify when driving.

I used this on my truck with 37" tires. I have forscan as well, but I was not able to find a way to program a tire that large without a MIL light.

Using ForScan give these values a shot. You may get a CEL (P160 code) but shouldn't as it is very close to the stock Tremor size
