There was a thread a couple weeks back on this, sorry can’t remember the thread title. Thinking consensus was that because the 2020s only have 2 inch blocks in the back you can’t drop it a bunch. And there was some talk about pmf leveling kits.

I thought the 2020s had different blocks between the 250 & 350? 250 has shorter 2” and 350 has the taller blocks like the 17-19 trucks.
I can’t find that thread from a couple weeks ago!
Precision Metal Fabrication has high quality products and great customer service. I ordered shorter blocks through them.
I reversed leveled mine by removing the 2 inch blocks and adding a 3/4 inch steel plate. I fabricated the steel plate so Firestone air bags would fit directly on top of the plate, so I didn't need all the brackets that normally fit around the axle. Very clean and simple install. Biggest challenge for me was cutting the steel plate. I have a small hobby plasma cutter that would not cut the plate cleanly. This dropped the back of my truck at the trailer hitch 2 1/8 inches, with the tailgate down it dropped right at 3 inches. With the airbags I can go back up to the original height, or add more when towing a trailer, the best of all worlds. This mod has worked out great for me, no problems or issues, vibrations etc. I have some pictures of the plates on my phone, let me see if I can post them here.
FYI my truck is a 2020 F-350 Platinum SRW CCLB 4x4 6.7
Jonzie - I like your solution. Seems it combines the best of both by reducing bed height a bit and incorporating the airbag mount. Nice job. I'll be shopping for a 5er next spring to go with my new truck and I'll try to keep this in mind.
Jonzie- i am wanting to do something similar , but i noticed the factory block is tapered. Do you have any issues with vibrations at any speeds or while towing?
i also have a CC LB.
Picture of the truck sitting on asphalt is after reverse level. Picture of truck sitting on concrete and asphalt is before reverse level.
Do you have any dimensions of the plates besides the thickness?
Or does anybody have any dimensions or drawings of the stock blocks to save me from pulling mine out to measure them. Thanks in advance
I finally got the time to reverse leveled my truck today. I did it the cheapest way I could 😅.
I work at a machine shop and machined me some 1” long heavy duty stainless washers with a 5/8 through hole to take up the extra length I would now have on the U bolts. I also have an Air Lift set of helper bags.
The whole process (short version):
All I had to do was loosen all the bolts to the helper bags. Remove the U bolt nuts and slide out my 2” blocks. Slide on my heavy duty washers and reinstall the nuts and tighten everything back up. The Air Lift kit has a radius cut out on the bottom of the bag pedestal that normally rests on the 2” block tang that matches the radius of the axle tube.
Now for the detailed version for anybody interested:
After blocking up the truck loosen all the helper bag bolts. Put a jack under the rear diff and completely removed the U bolt nuts. Lower the whole axle with the jack under the diff until you can slide out the 2” blocks. Lift the rear axle back up after removing the blocks until you can slide the lower plate for the U bolts back on. Slide on the heavy duty washers and start the U bolt nuts. Lift the axle up close to the bottom of the leaf springs. Use another jack under the front of the diff to get the correct angle for the **** on the bottom of the leaf springs to drop back into the location hole on axle mount. Tighten up the U bolt nuts to the torque spec (90ft lbs from what I have read) no lubrication in the threads. Tighten vertical bolts on the airbag mounts first to make sure they seat on the axle tube correctly. Tighten the U bolts that hold the airbag mount against the leaf springs and drop the truck back down.
