Agree about the breeze thru trees and a beautiful sunset. We to are blessed in so many ways the main one is each other. We are doing somethings we have never done. As far as the 2022 cruise we want to go , but like you said the Covid thing.
Happy veterans day!
That sucks, this has been an insane year.
The rear rubber line came in and the front 2 should be delivered today. The left front caliper is on the way but showing not coming in till sometime next week.. If it doesn't rain over the weekend then I can work on the rear brakes and hopefully I can get a majority of it done.
I have been going wide open at work the last 2 days trying to get caught up. We finally got all the new equipment put together and did some shop clean up. Mower repairs have really slowed down but big tractor repairs have picked up. The 2 front brake hoses for the "79 arrived yesterday. The front brake caliper I need is in Atlanta, fingers crossed it gets delivered on Saturday. Wife is doing some Christmas shopping on Saturday and leaving little man with me, not sure how much I can get done.
so you and little man have a full day of wrenching. Dont get on to him when he starts talking like a mechanic.
I was able to get the floor sander I bought while back operational. We paint one side of the new interior doors yesterday. One bedroom will be in primer today. I start sanding the other bedroom.
We have to have at least one done by the 29 th, when we go pick up our son. He has a waterbed, hopefully, the mattress is still could. He could not set it up where he is living now.
Today I installed the new caliper I was waiting on and the brake pads up front. I jacked up the back so the truck is completely up on jack stands now. I had to beat the brake drums off since they had not been off in who knows how long. I installed the new wheel cylinders and the new brake lines. I got all the new shoes and springs installed but the brake drums won't go on all the way. They go about half way on and then jam. I double checked everything and they are assembled correctly. Parking brake is not engaged and the shoes are compressed all the way in. I will mess with it again tomorrow.
