Thought I had everything set. Bolted things back up and I have no power at the selector switch for tunes. Guess I got to pull the PCM back out. Anyone else had this issue?
Could be a bad connection at the chip. Also, make sure you cleaned the contacts on the pcm. If they’ve been over-brushed, you could have an issue there. It’s also pretty common that the chip isn’t staying on place on the pcm, so most folks use a piece of duct tape to keep the chip in place and then button it back
up. Let us know what you find.
This video is what I followed, and worked awesome on mine, no issues yet. I also taped the crap out of the chip into the PCM to make sure it wasn't going anywhere after it was seated.
Okay, I got to it and reseated it and I have power. Now I just need to figure out how to route the cables. Video shows going up and over and I'm missing how to get in there. Hopefully by this morning I will have it figured out and can take it for a drive. Not looking for much since I'm pretty much stock on injectors, tranny, and hpop. Hopefully I will see a mild boost. Intercooler to follow (already have it it in the garage).

Intercooler install isn’t too bad! Just really make sure you cut enough room in the radiator core support for the pipes to meet the intercooler. I have a boost leak there that I’m taking care of now. Pain in the butt to fix after you’ve installed it.
Well, let's just say I had a little fun yesterday. That Hydra chip WOKE my truck up! I have a 1997 California truck and man when I jumped on it it was crazy! Can't wait to see what it will do with new injectors. Got to get the other upgrades done now!
