I have a 2003 F-150 supercrew. Can anyone tell me about the largest all-terrain tire I can put on this truck without putting a suspension or body lift under it.
I understand the whole "lift or cutting" issue, but am pretty ignorant when it comes to tire sizes. I have 16" wheels with 255 currently on it. what would be some possible upgrades.

Gives specs. LT265/75R/16 is recommended on 7.0" wide rim. That doesn't mean a LT 285/75R/16 won't fit. It won't be as wide on the narrower rim. It will be slightly wider and taller. I like the tread to be square to the road with the tire only being slightly wider than the wheel. If you force a wide tire on too narrow a rim, the tread will not wear flat. Adding or decreasing air pressure may help to get the right profile. I try to stay with the tire manufacturers guidelines though and hope for good wear. So if I were to run larger tires, I'd buy bigger wheels too.
My second question now is does anyone know where to get a chrome plated grill/brush guard for a good price?
The only price I can get is like $850 dollars.
