I just looked at the listing in the DC catalog...that rear cab panel does not come with the cross brace, the rear window brace, nor the door jambs. I guess if you have those on your current cab then you would not have to buy new ones.
Back on 1999 when I was getting my 54 fixed up I had rust holes at the bottom of my cab back panel. Nobody made replacement panels for this back then.
My body man told me to find a back panel . I went to my favorite junk yard. Found a cab with a good back panel. The junk yard worker used a torch to cut it out.
I don't know why but my body man didn't use it. Instead he patched it himself and was able to replicate the grooves in the panel.
I'll take pics of it tomorrow. And , no, I do not have that panel anymore.

All the inner braces are fine, Just would like to use a panel that is not all warped. I could fix what I have but If this panel fits it will make a nicer repair.
It’s close but top and bottoms on both sides needed cutting and shrinking. My cab may not have been the norm since it actually caught air in transport and blew off the trailer. Nothing on it was square after the flight. The cab back panel I bought was very well packaged and had Dennis Carpenter on the box even though I bought it from Midwest Early Ford in Ohio. Shipped FEDEX and I picked it up at their Depot.
Its installed in my 56 F-100.
Thanks for that update, That gives me hope I can get it to fit my cab, It has not been through what yours has. Good to hear you are making headway on your truck after all you have been dealing with. Thanks Larry
