I am looking for pics of exhaust the exits in front of the rear wheels, my current dual set up will not work with the irs and I am not sure I want to go threw the trouble of routing the pipes under the irs to run the current tail pipe exits behind the rear wheels. I have no leaf springs in the way now so it should be relatively simple to make a clean tight to the body setup exit in front of the rear wheels. Has anyone who has done this noticed more noise in cab or any other downsides? I have 2.5 exhaust with long tubes, h pipe, dual resonators, with dual "flowmasters", and anti drone tubes.
I tried running mine out in front of the tires instead of under the rear bumper and the drone started backing out all the screws in the interior trim! That didn't last long.. Flowmaster 50 series.

I have a 1973F 100 long bed
with a 302 with hedman headers, 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a crossover with Porter steel packs. Went 2.5” to 3” transitions and a stainless v band end.
love it, though vband end is kinda odd kinda ricer ish and has a blueish look.
Hows it sound
I like it a lot, has kind of the old-school sound doesn’t sound like the flow masters everyone else has anymore. It has a little bit of rasp when you really get on it and it’s mellow to drive around. The V bands is just something that we do on a lot of exhaust with the desert racing I’m involved with, that way in case you get a flat tire it protects the end of the tailpipe and doesn’t crush it. The exhaust I had black ceramic coated and left the tips stainless. Please don’t mind the squeaky belt lol.
Looks great. What does it sound like? Last set of glass-packs I had shook the plates out of the cabinet in the kitchen.
they sound really nice, have had them for 2yrs now and haven’t changed much. They use all steel so I think they last longer?? USA made so I went with them and bought from Speedway.
