I have a 1991 F150 and i'm having some problems with the guage cluster. All guages work properly, and light up when the **** is clicked all the way to the left. I was driving and the 5AMP fuse blew out that allows the lights to dim in the interior. I replaced the fuse and they no longer dim. The fuse holder is only getting power when the **** is clicked all the way over. Also, when this happened my passenger side turn signal went out at the same time, not sure if its related but worth mentioning. Could someone tellme how to fix this or if this has happened to them before?

I would check the light switch could have burned contacts on the inside of it did the turn signal bulb go out or will it just not work
the turn signal bulb is completely out passenger side. I am more concerned about my interior lights not dimming. Why would they not be working properly?
Sounds to me like the switch is shot. During that era ALL the amperage went through the headlight switch from the headlights, dash lights, etc , making it prone to failure / wearing out as they get older. To remedy that you can replace the switch, not hard to do, and also if you wish, get a headlight relay harness. I got one for my 93, what it does is plugs into the original headlight connectors, then you plug the harness into the head lights and then you connect it to your battery/ ground, the relays take the load off the switch from the head lights and as a bonus, you get brighter head lights. I also replaced my head light assemblies and they work pretty well compared to the dull yellowed ones that were original.
