High Milage
Bought a 1994 F250, 2wheel drive, 350 motor, today the milage is up there 200,000 miles but the price was right seems to drive pretty strong with lots of pep and no strange noises, it is a
ex-lease vehicle what sort of mileage can one expect from a maintained vehicle.
Thanks and crossing fingers

Welcome!!
You never know about some maintence trucks. Places like Pacific Bell (phone co) do there own service. Other companies, if they want good return for the lease payment, may tend to run them into the ground. 7 yr old truck with 200,000 miles just do the math 30,000 per year!!
I would at a minimum, Change ALL FLUIDS, I mean All!!
You can have the oil analyzed to see what is going on in the engine.
Good luck!!

High Milage
Davie, I have a 92' f-250 4x4 w/ 351 engine. I only have just over 100,000 miles on it but I do run it hard. I carry a truck box full of tools and plow with it it the winter time. Just to touch base. I do service it on a regular basis. I get around 10 mpg approx driving around town. I don't see the highway that often with this truck so no known milage for the highway.... Jakegypsum // Ford fleet, soup to nuts.
When the wind is right, you can hear those Chevy's rust..........just listen.

I agree, I would guess that most of the miles are highway?
That's a good thing, the truck still has lot's of life. My uncle has a 1994 F-150 supercab 5.0L with almost 170k, mostly highway. The truck doesn't look that good, but it still has good power. Doesn't use any oil, still original E40d. I put new plugs in it last summer, they still looked good.
These trucks can go along way with proper fluid changes and little maintence. That's why you have to love a Ford!
