I actually bought this for my F150, and was going to install it for ham radio before Covid, but never got around to it. Now I'm trading into an SD, but the part # seems to be the same, so maybe I'll put it on my F350 at some point.
OP specifically said he didn't want it up on the dash (or inside the console).
The only options I can find are to:
Mount under a seat (which I would hate ... can't see or adjust much)
Mount vertically to the flow-through portion of the center console. This is probably a knee-buster, could be obscured if mounted on the passenger side, and it may stress out the vertical plastic structure of the flow through console.

I think option 3 is the only viable solution I'd consider. Cobra 75 WX ST is an example of a CB radio that will fit into just about anywhere. I'm not a fan simply because I like adding a cheap $10 5W speaker to the included PA system that most CB radios have. The 75 WX ST has no PA output.
I've got a Cobra 29 LX in my closet because I can't figure out anywhere to mount it in my cab ... and I don't think that will change.
As for antenna mounts, I recommend a custom fit hood-mount. It looks good, they work well, plenty of easy-to-access grounding points, and a good fiberglass antenna can be easily removed.

I think you need to look up the definition of oxymoron, because "user friendly" isn't one ... regardless of how untrue you might find it to be. An oxymoron isn't simply a phrase, statement, or descriptor you find incorrect or opposite of reality. The words themselves have to be contradictory to one another: icy hot, bitter sweet, deafening silence, definitely maybe, and so on.
Hi,
I got my new truck with the front buckets and center console and I need idea's on where to mount my CB Radio, I don't want to see it up on the dash, in the big center console ?, need ideas and pics would be appreciated, Also where and how did you mount your magnetic mount antenna.
Thanks Rihc,
I got an adaper from builtright industries to mount a cb on. Yes I did not want my cb on the dash but that was the best place. There adapter is steel and you can then mount various things on it. It fits in that cubby on the dash. I just put it in yesterday, will get a final pic and post it.
In the attached you will get the idea though. This pic is with the box removed, we it removed, you can fish your wiring through the dash
Question: How did you get the cubby tray to release from the dash? It looks as if you taped the dash area to prevent scratches from some sort of pry tool. Does it just pop off? The surrounding panel around the radio in my 07 F-150 simply pops off, no screws or anything. Is that the case here?
Rugged Radios offer stick-on (adhesive based flexible) magnets for magnetic base antennas to secure too and suction cup bases for windows for antenna bases. 3M too offers adhesive flexible stick-on magnet material that can be ordered in squares of various dimensions or cut to size.
I found that post to be most helpful. I've always thought a small adhesive backed steel plate would be an ideal solution. And way cheaper that the CHMSL options by nearly $300.
I am fond of magmounts because i have lost/damaged a number of antennas due to low limbs and mechanics vs low garage doors. A magmount antenna almost always just flops over with no damage or cost to repair. And I don't really mind the coax running across the roof. Plus an antenna mounted dead center of that big crew cab roof would have a marvelous ground plane and omnidirectional pattern.
While your waiting on more replies, take the sites user friendly ' Search ' feature for a spin
Umm.... okay. This forums "Search" feature leaves much to be desired. I regularly use it in an attempt to find info. Probably have a success rate finding anything even remotely related to what I'm searching for, of <3%.

I agree that the site's search function isn't the best. But if you are well-versed in Google searches, there is a way to do a search on google.com and request results only from the forum using the "site:" operator. For example:
At google.com, type: site:ford-trucks.com "CB mount"
You can even try to limit it to a 2020 F-350 by adding that: site:ford-trucks.com "CB mount" 2020 F-350
Note that the first result on that last search is this exact thread.
I put my CB under the start button. I like it there, just still searching for the best place to mount my mike. It gets in the way of looking at the channel when scanning but i deal with it. When putting it back I often bump the top buttons to change the channel. I mounted the 5' antenna to a front step I made mounted into a front receiver was going to use for bikes. All works well. The size and features of the President Bill CB is amazing. My old CB's sit on the shelf. President Bill CB
