Limited-Slip Options for 20-21 F-350

Question:

I was looking for an axle guide for what is actually installed on the 2020-2021’s. Did a search and nothing came up, but seems the search looks at both words even if using quotations.

Mainly looking for what is the 4x4 axle are in the F-350 non-Tremor 12,400# GVWR.

Would like to know if it feasible to install LS on front axle? I ordered with the 3.31 E-locker option for rear.

Whoops, I edited post to be clearer. Looking at front, ordered rear with e-locker!

Would still like to understand design of both, but can’t seem to find anything that’s in-depth.

It’s a Dana 60. 35 splines, reverse rotation. There’s every style LSD or locker you could want. You need to decide first if you want an LSD, an auto locker, or a manual locker. There are pros and cons. Serious off-roaders usually prefer manual lockers.

Thank you, I don’t understand why basic tech info from manufactures are so hard to find in documentation anymore?

Many list 2017+ and don’t trust when it’s just the “+” so wanted to ensure there wasn’t a change at some point.

I have a Truetrack for the Dana 44 in the Bronco and it worked well.

Thank you for the info and that makes things much easier!

Cheers

What BillyE said is correct. Dana 60 front axle. 35 spline axle shafts. Tons of options available. I plan to put a Detroit True Trac in mine when it arrives.

That is my first option as well and was hoping it was still the 60! The TrueTracks just make sense for me and perfect for my use.
