sensor identification
There are 3 sensors in the lower intake on my 90 F 150 with a 302. If you are looking at it from the front I know the 1 on the left is the coolant temp, there are 2 on the right side 1 goes in a intake runner and the other goes threw the base of the intake and is a single pin hook up. What are these 2 called I want to replace them while I am assembling my new engine, also is there a certain brand to go with. I know some computers are more finicky about after market sensors, my jeep dont like anything other than oem.

I would suggest you only use Motorcraft sensors when available.
Passenger side front with two wires on the pipe is the temperature sensor ( for the computer )
Driver’s side front by cylinder #5 with one wire is the temperature sending unit ( for the gauge )
I believe the other one further back on the driver’s side is the air temp sensor?
