1966 f350

Will the rear axle hubs (dana70) from a let’s say 1967 f350 and possibly later model truck fit on a 1966 f350 equipped with a Dana 70 axle? Are the hubs interchangeable? Thanks.

My '64 f350 has the smaller axle hub seal. Bearings can be the same, you have to watch the cone radius for the inner bearing as well, there is a serial number break that I cannot recall of the top of my head. The bigger issue is the 66 and back trucks use 13" brakes (#60 shoes) and the 67 up trucks use 12" brakes (#358 shoes). The backing plates are not a direct bolt on due to the tube diameter difference, which is partly why the seals are different. As far as I remember the stub length (between the bearings) is the same.
