I’m doing an inter cooler install on my 97 7.3 any tips? Does anyone know what the name of this part is I’m not to sure if it’s a transmission cooler or something else.
Now is the perfect time to bump up to a 40k trucool or the infamous 6.0 cooler and throw that baby cooler in the trash while you're tearing the truck down for an intercooler.
If you don't want to throw it in the trash I know some people use it as a power steering cooler when they have big tires and a lift.
Used to see that quite a bit on FSB back in the day when 39's and Dana 60's used to be the big boy axles and tires. Nowadays it's all full hydro, dana 80/super 14 steer axles, 44-46's, 500hp LS swaps.....
