Hutch mod underway

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post19216921
Finally have some time for this, dropped the tank and sure enough the foot is broken off!
figured i would do the Harpoon mod, your just cutting the filler tube and breather tube down right ?
Of course i know it is, just seems so simple should be more to it! LOL

Yep thats about it, easy and quick. It is on my list of things to do, along with a big filler neck, my e99 has the small auto nozzle opening....
Every time I have a chance to do this, it seems like my tank is full, never can remember to let is near E so its easy to drop. 🙉

Speaking of fuel tank feet, I have one that is still in good shape. Free to whoever wants it.

You mean the quick disconnects that are on the end of the hoses that connect the top of the pickup?
There are these. There are these.
I converted to AN fittings.

I am still debating on what I will do. I already have the cncfab 4 line feed with bowl retain, debating about doing an airdog with cncfab fuel block for ease of use, and then maybe a titan 60 gallon tank with a sump. This would save bed space from not needing an auxillery tank.
But for now, as I have already spent 16k in parts for the truck in the last 12 months, its just gonna be a large fuel neck, and cheapo hutch/ harpoon mod.

Do you mean these horseshoe clips? They're available at my local auto parts stores. Black and white denote hose size.

i am interested, went and checked it out, very clean install, now my question, is why put a pump in the tank?
is it giving you more fuel pressure, wouldn't you mount it outside the tank where it is more accessible?
