99 Expedition trans trouble??

99 Expedition trans trouble??
I’m wondering what is wrong. The vehicle shifts fine when driving, but I cannot start it when it’s parked and I have the HARDEST time trying to get it into park. Anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks

Or the two bolts that hold the shift cable bracket to the shift tube are loose. This is very common.
Crawl under the dash with a #30 Torx. Find the two bolts that hold the bracket to the shift tube and tighten them.
