You don't have to use the Eco Mode. it's not like it starts in that mode or anything. On another note, it's been snowing all week here, and that Snow mode is actually pretty good. just softens things up enough that you spin a lot less driving around the city.

I have used the snow mode a couple times and it really seems to help. It's funny I'm a 51 yr old Utah guy so snow isn't new to me. When I was a kid my dads truck was a 73 F250 manual, and he taught me less power is good on icy roads so he would start in second gear not first. Just to be clear we always considered the 4 speed a three speed because first gear was never called first it was always called "compound" or "granny" gear. This gear was an off road gear or down hill gear only. So I guess we would start in third gear.
