The kind that I have is the "Reverse Rotation Water Pump" kind. I can't find one of these at the junkyard, and it would run me $70 at the parts store.
I was going to just get the best looking cover from the junkyard and then get a new water pump to match it (because I need a new water pump anyways). However, I don't know if there is any special reason why this engine has a "reverse rotation water pump". If someone knows why an engine would need this kind of pump I would be appreciative.
Summit sells a universal timing cover that fits all 302/351 reverse or standard rotation efi or carb, but it runs $100 so looking for one in a salvage yard does sound better. Good luck
