i run the Same in my truck- I have a question though when switching over from summer to winter do I need to run a tank or two to make sure that the summer is out of the tank before I run the winter additive?
You should be running both at the same time to get cetane boost and anti-gel.
To be honest the Ford product is not that great at providing lubrication. There are better products on the market at the same price point as the Ford product.

ive read that - I’m just worried about putting anything in the tank that doesn’t say Motorcraft.
I have had 4 diesel vehicles, 2 F250's, old 6.5 Chevy and VW TDI, I have always used Power Services Diesel Klean. No particular reason other than you can walk into any store and its there. After ready and seeing a video on testing, I might be making a switch though. I will add I have never had any issues with any of the vehicles fuel systems. I also drain my water separator once every other week and have yet to find any water.
I switched from Stanadyne Performance to Stanadyne Lubricity, mainly because the Lubricity formula is targeted at what I'm interested in: protecting the ultra expensive fuel system we have: Lubricity and water de-emulsification.
I also use Better Diesel to reduce soot produced: longer periods between regen and (hopefully) less buildup in the EGR cooler and turbine vanes.
I run Optilube in my truck, John Deere tractors and Deere compact track loader and skid steer. I use Archoil in my small gas engines and have just started using ethanol free gas in them
I run Opti-Lube Summer+ all year here in mid Michigan. Never had any issues with gelling. My truck sits in a non-heated attached garage which does get some warmth from the house so on a below zero night my truck probably doesn't get below 10 degrees F or so.
I have been using opti lube for a while and when my latest shipment showed up it came with a pour spout with a valve. think this is a great add on. makes it easier to transfer to the smaller bottles I keep in the bed.
I recently bought some XPD too, but I ordered it with the pump dispenser & two small bottles because this is my first XPD purchase. I already have my summer additive (XL) set up with a pump dispenser. In addition to the pump dispenser, I too received the pour spout just like @Work Truck Fanatic received with his XPD. I prefer the pump for a couple reasons, but I thought the pour spout was a nice option.
I carry K100 in a old 32 oz Stabil bottle that has the 1 oz dosing chamber in quarter oz measurements on it. I have the amounts worked out what I need for both winter and summer ratios for the various gallon amounts.
Love my 65 gallon tank....I can dump a whole bottle of Stanadyne Performance or Lubicity without having to worry about XX ounces or is it a half bottle or 3/4 bottle nor will it spill in the truck if I don't use it all...

What is everyone using for friction modifier in their diesel fuel. I have been running Stanadyne Performance but what to explore other options. 2013 f350 all stock.
Because I’m under warranty, (2020 6.7PS), I use MOTORCRAFT PM-22A. I know allot of people using nothing but I want every bit of insurance I can get to lubricate the newest high pressure CP4.
