Oh cool, I didn't know that. That will open thing up in case I find a set in a scrapyard somewhere. The seller sent me an email last night and said if I wanted to keep these mirrors and try to make them work they would credit me $120.00 so now I may play with them and see if I can get them do work how I want them. they would only cost me 100 bucks at that point and i'm not sure how much it would cost to return them as I have to pay for shipping.

Some aftermarket stuff is good, but not all of it.
It just depends where you get it. Amazon and eBay are full of discount level hardware. I got my toe mirrors from a major online retailer. While I'm sure mine still came from a Chinese factory, they don't have any problems, including wind noise.

what brand did you get and where did you get them from? I'm seriously about to get the ford mirrors and be done with it. The wind noise on these are terrible. I thought about getting some low volume spray foam and seal up the cavities but I have this really nice truck and I'm going to rig these cheap mirrors to work, just is not sitting good with me.

Spend the money on the OEM Ford mirrors and be done with it.

Yes, they’re very pricey but you’ll sleep better at night. 😂

Mine came from carparts.com through a sponsorship agreement. I've never had any issues with them. The mirror glass doesn't shake and they do all of the power fold, power extend, puddle lamps, spot light, etc. The only thing I can saw about them not being OEM quality is the folding is loud. But maybe the OEM ones are too, I'm not sure.

Both my 2010 F-150 and the 2020 I have now had the manual extending mirrors. The top mirrors are heated and electrically aimed. The bottom panoramic ones are manual. Takes two people to easily adjust the panoramic mirrors, then they should stay. Most of the time the mirrors will be pushed in, but when you tow a wide trailer, just pull them out. Not worth paying for more in my opinion. I had one mirror broken in a parking lot and the replacement cost wasn't that bad.

First time I've had power fold mirrors - they are quiet when folding, and they are very nice to have when you pull into a spot that you know folks will be trying to walk by those Big mirrors...

We're happy, but we paid a lot for a new truck and got a $200 upgrade that makes it just that more... Well, tailored to our needs, frankly...

As an update, I ended up putting spray foam inside the opening of the mirrors and putting silicone along all of the joining edges. I used the low expanding foam for doors and windows. That did the trick for the noise! I drove to work and they were quiet and I was happy...until I got home and moved the truck in the driveway and just happened to notice the CEL was on. I started it again and the light was on. I looked at the temp and all it showed was 2 dashes! I checked the connections and wiggled wires and nothing. I contacted the seller and they said to drive 3 to 5 miles and it may start working. well BS because part of the options on the truck is auto detect for when you remote start the truck. If I have to drive 3 to 5 miles how is that going to do me any good on a cold morning. So I ended up looking again on ebay and found a pair for 250 bucks. like new off of a 2020 f150.

Just took delivery of my 2020 Lariat without tow mirrors but with the 501A and max tow package. Will start towing in maybe a year, so thought I'd upgrade the mirrors at that time and the discussion here is steering me to spend the extra for OEM. Anyone with the OEM mirrors notice highway wind noise?

I don't know how to do a multi-quote, but in response, I do think there is slight wind noise at speed, but I really can't say it is the mirrors. I drove our Super Duty with (similar) mirrors and it too has a SLIGHT wind noise. Frankly, I have other things on the truck I'd complain about, before wind noise, as it is a Very quiet vehicle, and it is a truck... I can't say that our benz is any quieter...

But the Tow mirrors have Awesome rear visibility!!!
