I just put new Powerstop brakes on my truck last weekend. Had a soft pedal issue after bleeding. I should have thought about it but I didn't, the right side rear caliper is incorrect, the bleeder faces down as it is the same caliper as the left side. I had to send the truck in to get new steel lines put on the rear axle and they called to let me know they couldn't because they wouldn't be able to bleed it. Its my slice of humble pie for the week i suppose. Does anyone else have these brakes on their truck and have a remedy or correct part number? Its a 2000 F250.
Go to rock auto.com. Put your info in and it will give you the correct part number. I installed the coated calipers and rotors a couple of months ago . They work great so far.
Did you order the wrong caliper or did they have the incorrect caliper packed in the box (which happens often when someone buys both sides, takes them out of the box and decided to return them)?
I'd just complete their return form and order the side you need if time is of the essence. If the mistake is on their end, I would figure they'd refund the shipping charge since you already ordered the replacement.

Theyre supposed to fit my truck but apparently mine and my bosses both got a leftover L99 axle or something.
