2017 f350 remote start

2017 f350 remote start
In the process of buying a 2017 f350.. it didn't have remote start installed from the factory so the owner had the dealership install a factory ford remote start.. it has the second fob.. is there a way to change this to be able to use a phone or even get a key with the remote start buttons on it.
I've been reading a lot through posts and seeing this is quite possible..
So I guess my question is how do I know what ford put in it for the remote start system.. 2nd does anyone know what else i will need to do to install this.
Like I said looking into buying this truck I know the owner.. and won't get it till after the first of the year. But would like to have everything needed to do all this stuff once I purchase the truck

I went this route on my '17. Took 3 mins to install. However your current remote system may interfere with this one unless you remove it all together.
