I've never put a 48-50 front clip back on a truck before, and it seems like there could be a few different methods to doing it. What is the tried and true best method?
Assembling the whole clip including inner fenders and then putting it on?
Put the inner fenders and fender braces on the the truck and then put the rest of the clip on as a unit?
Piece it together by adding one thing at a time to the truck?
I'm just trying to avoid reinventing the wheel, or getting halfway done and realizing there's a better way to do it. Thanks!
I went with the second option you described. Assembly of the grille off the truck is essential because of the approximately 5000 bolts and difficult access positions. Putting the big pieces loosely together and then installing on the truck worked well for me. A second set of hands speeds things.
