Hello everyone. I am new to the Forum. I started restoring a 49 f1. I am curious about the engine that was in it. The block says EAA-6015-5. Anyone know? Worth anything? Also what rear ends came in these trucks?

Sechrest, welcome to FTE the best Ford truck Forum on the World Wide Web!
I don't know much about 48-52 trucks as I have a 54 and a 55. But this is the best place for answers. Experts will be along shortly.
In the meantime can you post some pictures of your truck and tell us it's history.
Abe thank you. I currently only have one pic. I just started this project. As far as the story goes it’s been sitting in my father in-laws field for as long as my wife can remember. She is only 24 so that’s not saying much but the last time it was licensed was 1984 so it’s probably been sitting since then or close to it.
Welcome to the forum! Are you sure the truck is a 49? From what I see, with the larger back window and the later style bed, it suggests a 51 or 52. The the EAA prefix block ID suggests 215 OHV 6 cylinder, which would be correct for a 52 (the first year that engine was used). You might need to do a little deeper digging for chassis numbers or ID tags to verify. That truck, unfortunately, is about as rough as they come, so if you're planning a restoration, I hope you're up to the task. Let us know what you find, we're here to help.
The engine is only worth something if it can be verified it's not broken or junk. Even at that, as long as it's been sitting, it would only be minimal core value if it was good.
Rear end in a 52 would be originally a Dana 44. A 49 should have a Dana 41. Those are identified by a number cast into the lower right housing web, next to the rear cover.
Welcome! I see you have the deluxe landscaping package on the truck. Very popular with field find vehicles.
It isn't unusual to have a combination of parts on trucks after the passage of time. Some detective work will be needed to figure out exactly what you year have. If there is a plate on the glove box or on the engine bay firewall, please share the serial numbers. Also, the instrument cluster configuration will be helpful to know (two cìrcles versus sort of a rounded rectangle).
Hey everyone sorry it’s taken me so long to get back. I’ve don’t some digging on it and it is in fact a 52 with a 49 front clip. There is no firewall tag or glove box lid. The motor is locked up so I didn’t thing it was worth anything. I plan to do a resto mod with ifs and a four link rear end with a 9” Ford and a ford coyote for the power plant. It also has the two Circle gauges in it. Thank you everyone for the info!!!
