Hello all
My 89 F-150 had been experiencing a high idle. 1100-1300 rpm. I replaced the stock throttle body with a new BBK unit. It still has the same idle characteristics. The truck is a two wheel drive with the 5.0 and 5 speed manual transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim
Before you replaced the throttle body did you unplug the IAC? If so, did the truck barely idle or stall? If not you have a vacuum leak which you still have.
