I disagree with almost everyone here. OP got what they paid for: a $900 bumper before shipping.
You must have very low standards in life. I feel sorry for you.
That quality work is not acceptable on a $500 bumper. I've owned $250 bumpers with better welds than that. Hell, I can weld better than that, and I'm mostly self-taught!
I stand by my comment. You get what you pay for. Welcome to reality.
ATC Crazy, you left weld splatter on the back side. Now relax. I’m not running a weld test and that is a great weld for a backyard fabricator.
Which considering this is in the upper echelon for a rear bumper price-wise, no, I really didn't. It's their "Premium" bumper. Not some budget/work truck model.
I’d start with a credit card dispute. If that doesn’t work just suck it up and pay the $175 to get the rest of your money back. Then post reviews Everywhere with pics and video.
Collect their website pics of the product in question for evidence of misleading advertising.
You can even scrape their whole site as evidence with utilities like HTTrack, etc. All perfectly legal.
You might also state to the manufacturer that bad news for business transactions is very detrimental these days. Just this forum is living proof of that. No one in this thread would do business with them. This may sway them to perform a full refund, which is the proper business move for them, at this point.
Aas others have stated, I'd involve my bank (credit card company) and file a dispute. Plain and simple, they shipped something that you wouldn't have paid for had it been an accurate representation depicted on their business website.

LoL That's obviously before cleaning, sanding, primer, and paint. All of which usually make weld beads look better. If OP's bumper looks that bad after finishing, I would have hated to see it before. That is 3rd-world quality with better welds coming out of China. I'm sorry you accept such low standards from a business that supposedly prides itself from being made in America with American steel.

well scratch that off my list to look at, Also funny story about lippert, our DRV keeps cracking the fiberglass between the belly door and the slide out. They sent me a picture saying this is whats under there and it looks just as bad as these!!
OP, you didn't ask, but I'm pretty happy with the Ranch Hands on both ends of my '18 F-250....beer ain't the only thing that's made with pride down in Shiner, Texas!
