1. You can pay to ship the bumper back to us to be repaired and then ship back to you. We will re-powder coat the bumper only. We don't grind our welds down nor scape splatter off the inside of the bumper.
2. You can pay to ship the bumper back to us for a full refund on the bumper only. It will cost an estimated $175 to have it picked up and returned to our location.
3. I can credit you $50 if you decide to keep the bumper.
These guys are unbelievable. I absolutely would NEVER do business with them again! EVER!

Did they admit the welding was substandard? Which option will you choose?
Whichever you choose, we'll commiserate with you. Be sure and let them know they are losing bidness from all of us on the forum.
I took a stick welding class 37 years ago, and have only done some repairs here and there, but I'm glad to know I am just as good as a "professional" welder.
A video review posted on Youtube will get you a larger audience. You won't need to blast the manufacturer directly just show the welds and explain how the quality was not close to meeting your expectations. Include the manufacturer's response to your complaint. The viewers will draw their own conclusion.
I do feel like the $1,000 price point after shipping is a factor here. It’s a lot of money measured in hamburgers, but definitely not on the premium end of custom bumpers.
I’m conflicted here. If you’re not going to have quality welds you shouldn’t have a design that features welded joints this prominently. I also feel like they’re not trying hard to make this right, and you could Decline the charges based on how different it is than what they advertise.
but go through all of this pain and will you be as happy as if you just got to work cleaning it up with a grinder and putting some nice quality bed liner on it?
brother, I would agree with that the welds don't need to be a work of art but it is just not acceptable. I manufacture internationally and I have not seen such poor quality.
Just as unacceptable as those welds is the uncoated square tube in the pics. That's a fine place for corrosion to take hold. Thanks for pointing out a horrible company.
