About the power too. When the Prowler came out we (Chrysler) had a huge show trailer that travelled to car shows around the country it was towed by a Dodge Ram with a Cummins BT6. The Cummins guys got hold of the truck and juiced it up to from the stock 175 hp to over 300 hp. They said that they could take it to 600 hp but we were worried about breaking something in the drivetrain. I don't remember what the torque numbers were but they were, only that they were significantly higher than the hp digits. So that non-intercooled Cummins can cause some problems with those older parts if you are not careful.

Stu, Yes, I see a couple comments about that maybe a '35 or '36.

I've not seen this truck in person, but the front axle appears to be a Chevy 10-bolt. and I'm guessing a Corp. 14-bolt rear. It been pictured around the web alot. i seem to remember it having a Big Block Chevy also...
If you want an old truck to drive like and 1980/90's this would be a great way to do it...

I also think the thing that makes the old 4x4 trucks look "correct" is for the front tires to stay within the fender wells. It's not as easy as it may seem, because these trucks are narrower.

There is no M-H here. It's a 1935 1-1/2 Ton Ford on a 1 ton Chevy chassis. The cab looks like it's been widened. Look how large the back window is. The bed is stretched and widened as well. So are the rear fenders. I would guess the hood is widened at the back, and tapered back to the stock grille. It's some beautiful work, even though it's obviously not my choice of chassis.
