so if i change the autolite 1101 for a carter yf, i need to change distributor also, correct? something about the spark control on the 1101 that the carter does not use. i think it has something to do with timing advance.
its running now with the carter and runs ok i guess. timing on 6 degrees. when i rev it up, the timing mark goes away, so its advancing i would think. the yf has the port where the hose goes to the distributor. just not fully understanding this.
