Definitely a thirsty day Today. That hot wind is really sucking the moisture out of the air. Good for the asthma though. A couple of starts, but they jumped on them and kept them small.

I actually went in to the office today for a full 8 (almost). It’s so much better to train new employees when face to face.

Well, it is Sunday evening and hope that everyone is doing well. It’s been warm up here, with no break in sight. I got the vacuum out today and cleaned out the inside of my 6.0 and considered cleaning out my wife’s oversized purse (her 5.4 Super Duty). It was just too warm outside to keep going.

On a better note the fires up here are begging to wind down the air quality has really improved. I am just waiting to hear how much work they are going to be dropping in my lap.

Good news on the fires. Cooling off here this week. Low 80's high 70's by next weekend.

Same here. I was under the impression that Sunday was supposed to be noticeably cooler, but it didn't feel like much of a change. The air quality has improved markedly, and I'm happy for just that.

Happy Monday Nor Cal. I have been using the AC for a few hours a day these past two days, but I don't think I'll be using it this week if the predictions are correct.

It feels like a dry year. Aren't we suppose to have rain by now?

Rain? What's this word mean? We are getting wind tonight, and the PG&E "PSPS" starts about 10PM tonight through about 10PM Tuesday.

I, not sure that “rain” can happen when there is single digit humidity. Red Flag conditions here all day with gusts exceeding 50 mph and a couple of bloody fire bugs on the loose.

At least the house still has electricity. Neighboring areas had PSPS start about 10:00 AM today

In my neighborhood, there's a planned power outage this week. The whole grid is powered off for 8 hours. PG&E is replacing power poles. Quite the job in an urban setting. Preventative maintenance. Better to do it now, before the old poles fall.

It went thataway.

We're in PSPS since about 10PM last night. We have the genny running right now, which keeps the fridge cold, and water running, and allows us to cook breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I got a bluetooth error on the F-150 over the weekend. Seems the "Master Reset" doesn't really reset in a masterly sort of way. The real reset comes from pulling the fuse for SYNC. I will try that as soon as I find my round TUIT.
