I have a 2004 f150 5.4 ford ,question is how hot can my trans temperature run while pulling travel trailer without hurting the trans.thanks

You can go up to 220°F all day long with no problems. You can go up to 250°F for no more than a half hour at a time.

If the trans gets too hot don't shut the engine off. Idle or fast idle in either park or neutral to cool it.
