So last week I installed all led bulbs in the SD and made the forscan changes. Everything went as it should until this morning I am driving to work and the blinkers are hyperflashing.
So tonight I loaded in forscan and checked everything. Forscan reports no outages front or rear and both front and rear bulb outages are set to disable still.
I did check and I have no bulbs not working, and they all flash fine outside the truck, any ideas?
I like the idea of bigger trans PAN and currently have the AFE one, just to be matchy matchy with my AFE front and reat axle gearbox covers and my AFE engine PAN. Once you get into the +2QTS size, they pretty much look the same if you go with cast aluminum. one difference I have seen is the addition or absence of the temp sensor hole. I think that hole is handy. someday I am going to find a place to tap the tranny fluid flow and run it thru a 2 micron by-pass filter and return it into the temp sensor hole. There is metal in the trans fluid that the filters cant catch and if the PAN magnet does not get them, the magnets on the pressure solenoids do and there have been cases of pressure solenoid short out from particles.
