Rain sensing wiper issues

IDK if this is a common issue or I'm the lucky one. Brand new truck and the rain sensing wipers haven't worked right from the start. I can drive for 5 mins or more in a good rain shower before they come on. Sometimes it will be less but they have yet to work like they should. That's on the highest sensitivity.

Mine don't do that. They are to much or to little, same with auto high beams. I like intermittent and manual better than the sensors operation.

Well this isn't very encouraging. Guy I work with has an F150 and he said his work great and I would think it's the same system. I could deal with a few quirks but to basically having nothing sucks especially since I ordered that option. Smh

MIne work like they are supposed to. My only complaint is that I forget to turn them off before I go through the carwash.

The auto high beams rapid cycle, my eyes can barely adjust in between cycles. Its even better when the auto wipers and auto high beams are in sync. Drives me insane both are disabled now.

I disabled both the H/L and wiper features after trying them out ONE time.I know how to turn on my wipers and high beams when needed. These are silly features IMO.

Mine worked kinda iffy on mine. When I had the mirror covers off to install my radar detector wiring I noticed the windshield was filthy with dirt and some sort of film. This area is hidden by the plastic housing. After cleaning that area the auto wipers now work great!!!!

Mine work okay. they are not perfect but far from terrible. They do seem to go on more than i would choose if I were in control. Having a clean windshield and something on it like rainx does seem to help. It does do the hyper wipe more than i would ever use it. But is has not been annoying enough for me to consider disabling the rain sensing, I also leave it on the least sensitive setting most of the time.
